William Barry R.I.P.

Barryroe GAA members were saddened to learn of the passing of William Barry, Ballymacraheen, Butlerstown. On 6th July peacefully, surrounded by family and friends in the tender loving care of all staff at Mercy University Hospital Cork, William/Billy son of the late John & Mary (Maud) Barry, brother to the late ML John and James. Sadly missed by his brother Kevin, sisters Bridget, Teresa (Crowley), Helen, Patricia (Kennelly), Margaret and Pauline (Holland), nephews and nieces, Sara, Barry, Mark, Emma, Caoimhe and David, brothers-in-law, Drew, Pat and Finbarr, Bridget’s partner Larry and Helen’s partner Jerry, also his very close-knit COPE family.
Reposing at Riverview Chapel, Middle Glanmire Road, (Eircode:T23 PT93) on Monday, 8th July 2024, from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 9th July 2024, at noon in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Barryroe (P72 T206), and burial afterward at Lislee Cemetery.
